Is this season, the season of beautiful colours, autumnal Russet Reds, flame-tinged Oranges & earthy Brown shades weaving their way through the trees; often sunny days that make you feel positive and fresh; brisk breezes creating a crispness to the air that just lifts you and makes you feel glad to be alive; or maybe autumn has completely the opposite effect on you.
Rainy drizzly days and early dark evenings that get longer as each autumn day passes. Where did the sunshine go? In addition to everything else you may have had to deal with over recent times now the autumn too has had the audacity to bring an added grey cloud to your world.
Some of us during the latter months of the year tend to focus on the negative aspects of this season, which can in turn can create a lack of motivation, and add to an already low self- esteem. These may be days when you feel that it is not just the weather that is feeling miserable and down, maybe autumn brings with it a downturn in your own feelings and motivation. As if your get-up-and-go just got up and left.
